Mal’akh, knowing that Langdon and Katherine will go to his place, prepared to ambush them, where their CIA escort die and the two was held captive afterwards. Sato after hearing the truth allows Langdon and Katherine to rush to Mal’akh mansion. Bellamy lets Langdon and Katherine escape when Sato accuses Langdon of conspiracy with Mal’akh because the “thing” he brought in the Capitol, which reveals to be a smaller pyramid, is in response to Mal’akh request, posing as Peter in the invitation he receives. Katherine almost die when Mal’akh burned downed her Smithsonian-sponsored laboratory but she managed to escape and meet up with Langdon and Bellamy (Capitol’s Architect and fellow Freemason as Peter). Katherine Solomon, a Noetic scientist and the younger sister of his mentor, Peter Solomon. To save his mentor and to capture Mal’akh, Langdon together with Anderson (Capitol Police) and Sato (CIA’s Director), cooperated with Dr. It leads him in a room in the Capitol’s sub-basement, where he found Solomon’s Masonic altar and a pyramid with carved inscription that is lacking of capstone. He found out that his mentor was held captive by a man named Mal’akh. Robert Langdon, an instructor and symbologist in Harvard, is invited by his mentor to give lectures at the US Capitol. The fact that I love reading mystery and thriller fictional books is also the reasons why I love his works. I become fascinated on his works because I love his writing style, the way he mislead the readers and unfolds the truth in the end.
